Spring Equinox Ritual Guidance
Here in the northern hemisphere, the sun is growing warmer, thawing the earth and warming the seeds germinating beneath the sleeping layers of life getting ready to burst upward in celebration of new awakenings!
We invite you to tune into your womb or hara to envision just how you would like to celebrate this new dawn and commune with this cycle of nature.
Tune into how the elements within you align with the elements of nature outside of your being, and how you are connected. What is awakening within you that has been dormant? What is ready to be revealed and honored with the joy of life regenerated?

Some ideas:
- Rise early to ceremoniously greet the dawn of the new day and the new season. Intentionally allow the early rays of light to penetrate your eyes and fill you with the awareness of the natural energy manifests life.
- Walk in nature and around your home acknowledging the signs of Spring already growing up from the ground and budding upon the branches of shrubs and trees. Greet them and offer them a whispered prayer or song, or warm loving energy from your hands. Notice what insects, critters, birds and other animals are awakening and be aware of how their behavior is being activated at this pivotal time.
- Refresh your home, altars, your outlook on life, your wardrobe, your recipes, drinks. Set intentions for new long term projects for this season. Build a new altar.
- Dance and sing with nature and life! Dance for the seeds you planted to grow. These can be literal seeds or the intentions you have set for new life to grow. Connect with the energy of innocence of children and the playfulness of young life. We have created this playlist for you to move intuitively to, or create your own playlist to dance and hum along with.
Here's a Spring acorn dance to inspire you, a very sweet moment of ritual and prayer in this beloved family favorite movie:
